 Aims and Scope

Turkish Journal of Clinical Biochemistry is the official journal of Turkish Society of Clinical Biochemistry. The journal aims to convey scientific research, sharement of scientific knowledge and through these activities to contribute to its members' education. It is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal. Open Access Policy is based on rules of Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) (http://www.budapestopenaccessinitiative.org/). Editorial and publication processes of the journal are conducted according to the rules advised by International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (http://www.icmje.org), World Association of Medical Editors (WAME) (http://www.wame.org/), Council of Science Editors (CSE) (https://www.councilscienceeditors.org/) and European Association of Science Editors (EASE).

The journal is published three times a year. Supplements or special issues may be published if needed. Publication languages of the journal are Turkish and English. Headings (tables and figures included), key words, abstracts of original research articles, reviews, case reports and letters must be submitted in both languages. Manuscripts should be prepared in compliance with the instructions for authors and should be sent via journal's web page. Submitted manuscripts are evaluated by at least two reviewers who are experts in their field. Following the evaluation, with the approval of the publication committee, manuscripts are published.
