Evaluation of the Importance of Clinical Biochemistry Education and Expertise in A Survey |

Objective: A questionnaire was created for specialists and assistants of clinical biochemistry to
evaluate training and expertise and also the future of our field of Clinical Biochemistry.
Materials and Methods: Twenty questions were asked to participants. 192 people attended in the
questionnaire and 100 of participants were assistant, 92 of them specialists. The survey questions
included the topics such as the future of biochemical expertise, quality and evaluation of the
biochemistry education.
Results: Participation in the survey was higher. The questions with sequence determined according to
which was marked as a first option.
Conclusion: The participants indicate that the worth of clinical biochemistry specialist will not
improve because of legal problems. Absence of assessment and evaluation of many participants
during training constituted as a major problem. According to today's conditions to standardization of
the training and control of these standards are important according to todayÕs conditions.
