Objective: A questionnaire was created to measure and evaluate the satisfaction of Clinical Biochemistry Laboratory in Izmir Ataturk Training and Research Hospital.

Materials and Methods: The number of participants in the questionnaire were 263 and 141 of attendants were assistant/general practitioners, 90 of them specialists and 32 were clinical chief/chief assistant. Sixteen questions were asked in order to evaluate the process such as results are arrived in sufficient time, the accuracy of the results, the error sources, the critical value reporting process.

Results: The surve y questions can be classified as working time of tests, variety of the tests, compliance and accuracy of the test results and advice to the laboratory for test results.

Conclusion: Tests variety are adequate in diagnostic procedures but for scientific resarch the diversity of the tests should be increased. Although reliabilty of our laboratory is in a good position becouse of the accuracy of the results, to minimize the errors we must concentrate on service training. If laboratory professionals and clinicians evaluate test results together laboratory performance, clinician satisfaction will increase and repeated draw blood from patients will decrease so that improve the patient satisfaction. The communication between laboratory and the clinics about the test results will occur as decreased of repeated samples, and creat of the subunits for the critical values there will be increase of the feedback of the critical values.
